In November Sebastian and Beata organised for Appliscale to attend the Autumn Targi Pracy at AGH, hosted in the Main Building. It was a well-run event with a great mix of local Krakow and international companies on display.

According to official estimates, over 4000 students attended the fair, and it felt like most of them visited our booth. With a wide range of courses on offer in AGH, we meet students of everything from Geothermal Imaging to Robotics. The sheer number of undergraduates with some exposure to ‘informatics’ was impressive. I think almost everyone we spoke to had some programming experience. We are looking forward to the Spring event with anticipation.

After the event, we received a lot of cv’s and have just completed the in-person interviews. I’m happy to say we have had all our offers accepted. Starting this month, Appliscale will have a new corps of interns joining our team. 

Our interns will be working with a wide range of new technologies on some of the new projects we have lined up for 2018.
