We’re hiring a Product Engineer who is genuinely excited about AI and knows how to ship software fast using AI-native development practices.

This is not a role for someone who “adds AI to everything”. It’s for someone who uses AI as a serious tool for shipping better products, faster, with high engineering quality.

You will work close to product, business, and engineering. We’re looking for someone hands-on, independent, and able to lead by example.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and ship AI-native software features end-to-end
  • Use AI tools daily (Cursor, Claude, OpenAI, etc.) to accelerate development
  • Work with specs and plans before implementing changes
  • Improve and maintain prompt systems, workspace rules, and AI workflows
  • Select the right AI tool for each stage: design, coding, review, debugging
  • Maintain quality as the codebase grows (tests, reviews, monitoring)
  • Improve observability of AI-based features and workflows
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product stakeholders
  • Lead by example in how AI is used in real engineering work
Required Qualifications:
AI mindset & tooling
  • You follow AI updates regularly (OpenAI, Google, Claude, Cursor, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with at least one AI coding tool (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) and MCP (Model Context Protocol)
  • You use AI as a tool for productivity and quality, not hype
  • Strong experimentation mindset (you test new workflows and keep what works)
Engineering
  • Strong software engineering background (commercial experience)
  • Full-stack fundamentals (frontend, backend, databases, cloud)
  • Ability to write maintainable code and understand engineering trade-offs
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple work streams
Product & business thinking
  • Product engineer profile: you understand what you’re building and why
  • Comfortable working close to product, design, and business context
  • Understanding of startup vs bigger company environments
Nice to Have:
  • Experience building AI-powered product features or internal AI tooling
  • Familiarity with multi-agent workflows and SKILL.md
  • Experience with observability/monitoring tools
  • Public speaking or sharing knowledge (meetups, blog posts, demos)
